Florida Gulf Coast wins the Badger Invitational in Wisconsin

Joshua Hill, a Freshman at the University of South Alabama, shot 8-under with rounds of 72-69-67 to secure a thrilling one-stroke victory at the Badger Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis.
Hill entered the final round trailing Zach Little of Central Arkansas by three strokes, as Little had taken the 36-hole lead with a score of 6-under and rounds of 66-72.
However, Hill staged a remarkable comeback in the final round, carding a 67 that included four birdies on the last nine holes, including a spectacular three-birdie streak on Holes No. 11, 12, and 13.
This performance helped secure Hill a one-shot victory over Austin Cherichella of Florida Gulf State University, who finished T2 with Owen Stamper of Middle Tennessee State at 7-under.
In the team competition, Florida Gulf Coast secured victory by a single stroke, posting rounds of 274-286-291 for a total of 13-under 851.
Illinois State closely followed with scores of 283-288-281, while Middle Tennessee State finished as joint runners-up, shooting 281-285-286, both teams ending the tournament at 12-under 852.
