Pine Needles Invitational: Brandon Grzywacz and Kyle Harman win by two shots

Brandon Grzywacz and Kyle Harman won the 2024 Pine Needles Invitational at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.
Grzywacz and Harman finished 16-under to best the field by two shots. Brian Gauley and Mark Gauley finished in solo second place at 14-under after rounds of 63-67-70. Team Gauley shot 63 in the first round and held a four-shot lead, but a 67-70 for the next two rounds let the field back into the competition.
Chad Day and Will Huntley finished in solo third place at 13-under, and Kermit Murphy and Cameron Warner finished in solo fourth place at 12-under.
Evan Boyer and Chris Wilson, Brian Brown and John Varol, and Jerry Richardson and Matthew Crenshaw all finished T5 at 11-under.
Grzywacz and Harman
Stephen Woodard and Brett Boner won the Senior Division, finishing at 15-under with rounds of 64-68-67 to shoot 199 over three rounds and winning by one shot. Dale Bouguennec and Paul Clark finished in solo second place at 14-under, and Kevin Vandenberg and Bryan Rodgers finished in solo third place at 13-under.
Vandenberg was the highest-ranked player in the field, currently ranked No. 4 in the AmateurGolf.com Senior Rankings.

ABOUT THE
Pine Needles Invitational
54 holes four-ball stroke play championship with
open
and senior (both players ages 50+) divisions. The
first
two rounds are best-ball and the final round is
modified
alternate shot. The field will be cut to the low 48
teams split between both divisions following the
second round. The Consulation Round will be played
at Mid Pines.
