Evan Beck, the 2022 George C. Thomas Invitational champion, conquered Los Angeles Country Club again to win the prestigious invitational.

Beck, who also won the 2024 George L. Coleman, the 2021 and 2022 Eastern Amateur, and finished runner-up at the 2023 U.S. Mid-Amateur, shot 1-under to tie Will Davenport at the top of the leaderboard, forcing a three-hole aggregate playoff on holes No. 1, 2, and 9 to crown a champion.

Beck forced the playoff by walking in a nine-foot putt for par on No. 18.

Both players made pars on Nos. 1 and 2, capped off by a miracle chip-in by Beck, and a tight approach on the par-3 No. 9 gave Beck a birdie and the win.

He is currently ranked No. 6 in the AmateurGolf.com Mid-Amateur Rankings

Drew Kittleson finished in solo third place at 2-over, and Hayes Brown and Taylor Wood finished T4 at 4-over to round out the top five.

In the Senior Division, Robert Gerwin took home the title at 5-over with rounds of 71-70-74.

Gerwin entered the final round at 1-over and three shots ahead of the field, and his 4-over 74 final round was good enough to hold onto the lead.

Daniel Sullivan finished in solo second place at 7-over, and Bryan Norton finished in solo third place at 11-over.
