Nathan Robinson triumphs in playoff at 2024 Peninsula Amateur

Nathan Robinson of Santa Cruz clinched the 2024 Peninsula Amateur Championship title after a sudden-death playoff against Adam Petrocelli of Pacific Grove at Crystal Springs Golf Club in Burlingame, California.
Both players finished the tournament with a two-round total of 139, with Robinson shooting 68 and 71, and Petrocelli posting scores of 69 and 70.
Mason Browning of San Mateo finished third with a solid performance, totaling 146 after rounds of 72 and 74. Jackson Bussell from Lincolnshire, Illinois, took fourth place with a 147, recording a 74 in the first round and a 73 in the second. Chris Audi of San Francisco rounded out the top five with a consistent score of 148, shooting 74 in both rounds.
In the senior division, Bobby McAllister of Rancho Murieta emerged as the champion, finishing with a total score of 149 (77-72). Tony Ralph of Sunnyvale, who led after the first round, finished as the runner-up with a total of 151 (74-77).
Joseph Schiebold from Rohnert Park and David Soika of Capitola tied for third place, each recording a total score of 155. Schiebold shot rounds of 78 and 77, while Soika posted scores of 75 and 80. Daniel Young of Redwood City secured fifth place with a total score of 162 (84-78).
