The final round played much harder for teams, as LSU shot its highest score by 11 shots, and Ole Miss shot its highest score by 14 shots.

None of the other schools were close to the top two, as host school Tennessee and South Carolina finished T3 at 4-under, and Mississippi State finished in solo fifth place at 1-over.

In the individual competition, new LSU transfer Algot Kleen, who spent his first three collegiate seasons at East Tennessee State, finished 12-under with rounds of 66-65-67 to win by four shots.

Cameron Tankersley of Ole Miss finished in solo second place at 8-under, and Jake Peacock of South Florida, Lance Simpson of Tennessee, Michael La Sasso of Ole Miss, and Garrett Endicott of Mississippi State all finished T3 at 6-under.

Kye Meeks of Ole Miss finished in solo seventh place at 5-under, and Jackson Herrington of Tennessee, fellow ETSU transfer and LSU Tiger Matthew Dodd-Berry, and Cooper Smith of South Florida finished T8 at 4-under to round out the top ten.

Kleen is currently ranked No. 74 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings and was a selection to the 2023 All-Southern Conference team and a PING All-Region selection.
