Jackson Buchanan of Illinois, Ole Miss win at Fallen Oak Collegiate

Jackson Buchanan of Illinois and Ole Miss won the respective individual and team titles at the 2024 Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier, Miss.
Buchanan finished 7-under and recorded a bogey-free 6-under 66 to propel nine spots up the leaderboard and win by one shot over Arni Sveinsson of LSU and Kye Meeks of Ole Miss. Sveinsson and Meeks finished T2 at 6-under.
Buchanan is currently ranked No. 4 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
He carded rounds of 75-68-66 to get to 7-under.
Buchanan won the 2024 Oregon Duck Invitational, made the semifinals of the 2024 U.S. Amateur, and qualified for the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst.

Frankie Harris of South Carolina, Max Herendeen of Illinois, Buck Brumlow of Georgia, and Tom Fischer of Ole Miss finished T4 at 4-under. Noah Kent, who finished as the runner-up in the 2024 U.S. Amateur, finished in solo eighth place at 2-under.
In the team competition, Ole Miss finished 20-under with rounds of 289-274-281 to win by nine shots.
LSU and Illinois finished T2 at 11-under, Georgia finished in solo fourth place at 3-under, and South Carolina finished in solo fifth place at 1-under.
