The USC women and Auburn men won the respective championship matches at the 2024 East Lake Cup at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.
In the men's competition, the No. 2 seeded Auburn Tigers secured their third win in the East Lake Cup history, taking down No. 1 seed Georgia Tech 3 to 2.
“It's great to get the win. I just love this golf course…It's just a privilege to be here,” Auburn head coach Nick Clinard told the East Lake Cup. “The excitement level is high going into the offseason, getting back into the gym, getting back into some of the skill instruction that we do and getting a break, a chance to get away from the game and getting ready to go in the spring.”
2024 Haskins, Ben Hogan, and Nicklaus award winner Jackson Koivun secured the final point for Auburn, taking down 2024 NCAA individual champion Hiroshi Tai of Georgia Tech on the final hole.
Koivun is currently ranked No. 5 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.

Carson Bacha and Ryan Eshlemen secured the other two points for the Tigers in the championship match.
In the women's competition, No. 1 seed USC defeated No. 2 seed LSU 3.5 to 1.5.
For USC, Jasmine Koo, Cindy Kou, and Bailey Shoemaker secured full points and Catherine Park secured a half point.
Park is currently ranked No. 4 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings.
"Throughout the whole week, it was a very complete team experience," USC Head Coach Justin Silverstein told Golf Channel. "Catherine and Jasmine played fellow Curtis Cuppers and took them down. We got production from the entire lineup, which is all (Assistant Coach Beth Wu) and I asked for. We played really disciplined and really good golf on a very difficult golf course, and we couldn't be more proud of them."
Silverstein added, "The firmness of these greens is very similar to what we saw at La Costa last year. La Costa should settle in a little more from last year, but this gave us a preview of what we will see there, so we can take stuff from her back home and add it to our spring practice."
In the third place matches, on the men's side Florida State defeated Ohio State 3.5 to 1.5 and on the women's side, UCLA defeated Oregon 4 to 1.
The East Lake Cup is a collegiate competition featuring eight of the top-performing teams from the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships.
The tournament is modeled after the NCAA Golf Championships because it rewards the teams that perform the best. The East Lake Cup's format consists of an opening round of stroke play to crown an individual male and female champion and determine seeding for the following two days of match-play competition.
The event benefits the East Lake Club Foundation. The East Lake Cup will crown new champions in both the men’s and women’s divisions, as last year’s champions, North Carolina (men’s) and Wake Forest (women’s), failed to make the field in 2024.
