One of the top collegiate tournaments of the season is back, with The Prestige at PGA West taking place from Feb. 17 to Feb. 19 at PGA West, the Greg Norman Course in La Quinta, Calif.

This is a 54-hole men's college tournament played in California's Coachella Valley, which features an all-star field of many of major college golf's top teams and players. The Prestige: Texas Tech completes wire-to-wire victory

Last Year

Texas Tech completed the wire-to-wire win last year, winning by 12 shots and finishing at 33-under. Kansas finished in solo second place at 21-under.

The Red Raiders finished with three golfers in the top six en route to the commanding win. First-round leader Tyran Snyders finished in solo fourth place at 9-under, and 2023 Walker Cupper Calum Scott finished in solo fifth place at 8-under. Matthew Comegys finished T6 at 7-under.

Texas Tech shot rounds of 271-273-275 to continue to run away from the field and close the door on any comeback.

Stanford finished in solo third place at 17-under, and Washington finished in solo fourth place at 15-under. Kansas State and Duke finished T5 at 12-under to round out the top five.

The Course

The Greg Norman Course at PGA West is a par-71, 7185-yard track that has been described as “challenging but fair.” Boasting 102 bunkers, it is easily identifiable by its use of sand instead of normal rough along the fairways, which gives it a distinct flavor from the rest of the courses in the Coachella Valley.
