Nate Smith, the 2024 Idaho Amateur champion, carded rounds of 70-68-67 to get to 11-under and win the 2025 Snedeker Memorial at Lakewood Golf Club, the Dogwood Course, in Point Clear, Ala., by six shots over the field in wire-to-wire fashion.
With this win, Smith earns an exemption into the 2025 Palmetto Amateur and the 2026 Gasparilla Invitational.
In the final round, Smith was perfect in pulling away from the field, carding a bogey-free 5-under 67 to slam the door.
Smith, a former professional golfer, won the 2024 Idaho Amateur. He earned his first and only win on the Korn Ferry Tour at the WNB Golf Classic in 2010. Smith finished T3 at the 2024 Stocker Cup and made the match-play portion of the 2024 U.S. Mid-Amateur.
He is currently ranked No. 331 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
Bobby Wyatt and Sam Jackson finished T2 at 5-under, and Will McCurdy, Blair Hamm, and Shane Sigsbee finished T4 at 2-under to round out the top five.
According to Ben Adelberg of Back of the Range, McCurdy made a hole-in-one in the final round on the third hole to win a 2025 Chevy Tahoe.
