Lauren Kim leads Texas to sweep at Betsy Rawls Collegiate

Lauren Kim earned her first win of the season and second of her collegiate career to lead the Texas Longhorns to the sweep at the 2025 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Tex.

Kim carded rounds of 72-74-71 to finish 1-over and defeat the field by one shot. She rose six spots up the leaderboard with her final round 1-under 71.

She is currently ranked No. 13 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Women's Rankings. Kim had a huge 2023, winning the Canadian Women's Amateur and Stephens Cup. She also made the round of 16 of the 2024 U.S. Women's Amateur.

Kyra Van Kan of Tennessee and Cindy Hsu of Texas finished T2 at 2-over, and just one shot back of Kim. Rocio Tejedo of LSU finished in solo fourth place at 4-over, and Angela Yeo of Texas finished in solo fifth place at 5-over.

In the team competition, Texas carded rounds of 286-297-297 to finish 16-over and win by a comfortable 18 shots over the field.

This was Texas women's golf's third tournament title this season, as they also captured the Mason Rudolph Championship and the NB3 Match Play Championship.

LSU finished in solo second place at 34-over, and Arkansas finished in solo third place at 41-over.
