Luke Colton ran away from the field to win the 2025 Terra Cotta Invitational at Naples National Golf Club in Naples, Fla.
The Frisco, Tex., native finished 14-under with rounds of 69-65-68 to get to 14-under and win by eight shots.
The Vanderbilt commit joins Caleb Surratt (2021, 2022) as the two players to defend their titles. Colton went wire-to-wire in 2024 but was one shot back after the first round this time around.
Along with his 2024 Terra Cotta Invitational championship, Colton won the 2024 Byron Nelson Junior Championship champion. He also made the round of 16 in the 2024 US Junior Amateur and has three AJGA Invitational top-seven finishes in 2024.
Kihei Akina and Logan Reilly finished T2 at 6-under. Miles Russell, the recent 2025 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley champion, finished in solo fourth place at 5-under and Coltrane Mittag and Noah Kent finished T5 at 4-under to round out the top five.

The Terra Cotta Invitational, which originated in 1996, is a 36-hole stroke play event. The four top finishers qualify for 36-hole match play.
Previous winners include Justin Thomas, Matt Kuchar, Emiliano Grillo, Bud Cauley, and Peter Uihlein, as well as accomplished mid-amateurs such as two-time champion Danny Green, John Harris, Tom McKnight, Gene Elliott, Sean Knapp, Jerry Courville, Jr., and Tommy Brennan.
