Former top-ranked amateur and 2024 ANNIKA Award winner Ingrid Lindblad won the JM Eagle LA Championship after fellow rookie Akie Iwai bogeyed the final hole to fall out of a playoff.
This was just Lindblad's third start as an LPGA Tour member this season.
Lindblad shot a final round 4-under 68 to finish at 21-under, one shot better than the field. The former LSU standout made six birdies and two bogeys on the first eleven holes and parred the final seven holes to secure the win.
One of the top amateurs in the game, Lindblad rose to number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in June 2023, after Rose Zhang turned professional.
She won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the top-ranked golfer at the conclusion of the 2023 major tournaments, which gained her entry into the 2024 U.S. Women's Open and Women's British Open.
She ended her final amateur season by being named WGCA Player of the Year and receiving the Annika Award, the Inkster Award, and the Honda Sports Award.

Lindblad turned professional in June 2024 and made her professional debut at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship on the Epson Tour, having secured status at Q-School the previous fall.
She finished runner-up at the Island Resort Championship and at the Guardian Championship, before securing her first professional win on the Epson Tour at the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic in her seventh start.
Despite joining mid-season and only making nine starts, she finished 6th on the Race for the Card at the end of the season, to gain a fully exempt card on the LPGA Tour for the 2025 season.
