The U.S. Senior Open will be held from June 26 to June 29 at The Broadmoor (East Course) in Colorado Springs, Colo. Final Qualifying will take place from May 19 to June 12 at 11 sites nationwide, where top professionals and elite amateurs will compete for spots in the championship field.
The U.S. Senior Open is one of the five senior major championships, and has been conducted annually since 1980. Though open to amateurs with a USGA Handicap Index of 2.4 or better, the field is traditionally dominated by seasoned professionals from the PGA Tour Champions and other circuits.
Each qualifying site consists of 18 holes of stroke play, with a limited number of spots available to advance to the championship. Use the schedule below to explore scoring links, tee times, and recaps as they become available. Sites with completed play are marked with results links; others will be updated soon.

Bend Golf Club — Bend, Oregon

At the Bend Golf Club in Bend, Oregon, three professionals secured the available qualifying spots for the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying held on May 19. Richard Lee of New Zealand led the field with a 4-under 68, highlighted by a bogey-free back nine of 33 to claim medalist honors. Mark Knowles of Belfair, Washington followed with a 1-under 71, steadying his round with a clean even-par back nine. Rounding out the qualifiers was Tom Greller of Newberg, Oregon, who carded an even-par 72 with a closing 35 on the inward nine. Just one stroke outside the cutline were Perry Parker and Gary Sherrell, who both finished at 1-over 73. All three qualifiers at this site were professionals, with no amateurs advancing.

RESULTS: Amateur Marcus Jones of Argyle, TX fired a 3-under 69, including an eagle on the par-5 9th, to claim medalist honors. He was joined by JJ Henry and Rob Shields, who each posted 71 (-1) to earn the remaining two qualifying spots. Kelly Grunewald and Anthony Rodriguez, both at even par 72, were named first and second alternates.
Manor Country Club — Rockville, Maryland

RESULTS: Cliff Kresge (67) earned medalist honors at 3-under-par, leading five qualifiers at Manor Country Club. Brendan Jones (-2), Mathew Goggin (-1), Greg Owen (E), and Glen Day (+2) also advanced. Christopher Erick (+3) was named first alternate.
Piqua Country Club — Piqua, Ohio

RESULTS: Canadian amateur Dave Bunker shot 67 (-5) to earn medalist honors, leading a strong showing by amateurs at Piqua. Joining him were fellow amateurs Peter Samborsky II (-3) and Bradley Kay (-2), with pro Ted Purdy (-4) also advancing. Sam Arnold (-2) and Jeff Roth (-2) were named second and first alternates, respectively.

RESULTS:
Darin Fisher of Albia, IA won the qualifier after firing a 69 (-3) to beat Soren Kjeldsen, the Dane who took advantage of his newfound senior status and fired a 70 (-2). Amateurs Thomas Ansbro of Morgan Hill, CA and Chris Devlin of Hoover, AL fired 71 (-1) and 72 (E) to qualify. Matt Gogel (E) and Will Yanagisawa (E) will serve as alternates.

Christian Raynor, a 53-year-old amateur from Kennesaw, Georgia, fired a 5-under 67 to earn medalist honors at the U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifier at River Landing Golf Club (River Course) in North Carolina. Joining him in qualifying were fellow amateurs Ryan Gioffre (-2) and Joe Jaspers (-1), securing three of the seven available spots in a competitive field.

At the U.S. Senior Open Qualifier held Monday, June 2, at Mesa Country Club, Andrew Sapp claimed medalist honors with a 5-under 67. Amateur Channing Tam of Kailua Kona and Tracy Phillips of Tulsa each shot 69 (-3) to secure their spots, with Tam earning low amateur honors. Rounding out the five qualifiers were Jim Carter and Willie Wood, who both posted 2-under 70s. Missing the cut by a single shot was Armando Manuel Inman of Mexico, who earned the first alternate position after also carding a 70.

At the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying at North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks, CA, five players punched their tickets to The Broadmoor with impressive rounds under par. Craig Barlow and Mike Fergin topped the leaderboard with matching 5-under 67s, followed closely by Eric Meichtry at 68 (-4). John Balfanz and Stuart Smith secured the final two qualifying spots with rounds of 69 (-3). David Carr also shot 69 but was named first alternate via tiebreaker, with amateur Ron Ewing (70, -2) earning second alternate status. Notables missing the cut included Bob May, Joseph Summerhays, and Birk Nelson, all finishing at 2-under.
At the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Final Qualifying held at Oconomowoc Golf Club in Wisconsin, ten players secured their spots at The Broadmoor with impressive rounds under par. Leading the way was Bo Van Pelt, a winner on the PGA Tour in 2009, who fired a 4-under 66 to top the leaderboard. He was followed closely by four-time PGA Tour Champions winner Scott Parel, who carded a 3-under 67. Taggart Ridings and Duffy Waldorf shared third place with matching rounds of 2-under 68.
Five players tied for fifth at 1-under 69: Paul Goydos, Dicky Pride, Scott McCarron, Ryan Helminen, and Boo Weekley.
Notah Begay III—a four-time PGA Tour winner and former college roommate of Tiger Woods at Stanford—and Omar Uresti narrowly missed qualification but claimed the alternate spots with even-par rounds of 70.
8 players earned their spots in the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor following final qualifying at Deal Golf & Country Club in New Jersey.
Veteran Ed Kirby, 62, led the field with a stellar 3-under 68. A tightly contested battle for the remaining spots saw six players tie for second at 2-under 69, including amateurs Tomas Arlia and Doug Clapp. They were joined by Sweden’s Robert Karlsson, an 11-time winner on the European Tour (now the DP World Tour), and France’s Thomas Levet, a six-time winner on the European Tour, PGA Tour veteran Len Mattiace and John Bushka also secured their tickets with matching 69s.
The final qualifying spot went to Kevin Shields of Pittsburgh, who posted a 1-under 70.
Amateur Mark Strickland claimed the first alternate position after falling to Bushka in a playoff. The second alternate spot went to fellow amateur Rob McIver, who emerged from a six-for-one playoff to keep his hopes alive.

RESULTS:
Five players secured their places in the 2025 U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor after advancing through final qualifying at the Country Club of Colorado.
Matt Schalk, the 53-year-old PGA General Manager at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, led the way with a 3-under 68. Amateur Darrin Overson followed closely with a 2-under 69 to claim the second available spot.
A four-for-three playoff was needed to decide the final qualifiers among players who shot even-par 71. Emerging from the playoff were Steve Schneiter, three-time PGA Tour winner Chris DiMarco, and Brandt Jobe, a six-time champion on the Japan Golf Tour.
Owen Mark claimed the first alternate position after falling short in the playoff, while Mario Tiziani earned the second alternate spot by surviving a separate five-for-one playoff.
