Uihlein defends title at Dixie
Coral Springs, FL (Dec. 21, 2010) — Oklahoma State Star and number 1 ranked amateur Peter Uihlein fired a final round 66 today to capture the coveted Dixie Amateur at the Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida.
Uihlein began the day log-jammed at the top with 4 other players but his 6-under-par round was too low for the co-leaders to match. Peaper Brant from Tequesta, Florida and a current sophomore and Indiana State came the closest with 4-under 68.
