Zylstra and Craig Win at Moot Thomas Invitational
OCALA, FL (Feb. 28, 2011) -- Top ranked senior Bill Zylstra won for the second time this year capturing the Moot Thomas Invitational in a playoff against Berger Warner of Ocala, Fl. After both players finished the two-day event tied with scores of 71-72--143, Zylstra birdied the first playoff hole.
Frank Perry of Fayetteville, GA took solo third with scores of 72-74--146 and Mark Weston from Windermere, FL was fourth with rounds of 74-73--147.
In the Super Senior Division Ed Craig (72-74--146) of Orlando, FL edged out Ocala resident Ronald Getchell (73-74--150) by a single stroke. Dave Spannbauer of Green Cove took third place with rounds of 74-74--148 while Ron LeClair of Orlando (73-76--149) and Ron Russo (77-72--149) of Ocala shared fourth.
