Pool, Lutz claim Senior Masters titles
INDIAN WELLS, Ca. (April 15, 2011) -- Douglas Pool rallied from one shot back to win the 2011 Senior Masters at Indian Wells.
Pool was one shot back of leader Chris Maletis heading into Friday's final round but fired a 71 to take home the top prize by three shots. His four-day total of 286 outlasted Ted Smith and Maletis, who finished at 289.
Bob Lutz finished off his impressive wire-to-wire finish Friday to win the Super Seniors division. He jumped out to a first-round lead and never looked back, carding a four-day total of 290.
Lutz was six shots better than Jerry Greenbaum, who finished in second place.
