DURBAN, South Africa (Jan. 23, 2012) -- Brandon Stone of South Africa is on a roll. Just a few days after defending his championship at the Prince's Grant Amateur in Kwazulu, Stone won the Kwazulu Natal Amateur at Durban Country Club. He finished up with a 12-under par total of 280 with rounds of 69, 71, 69 and 71.
A recent signee for the Texas Longhorns, Stone finished the tournament three strokes ahead of the next finishers, Conway Kunneke and Gert Myburch who shot 283. Kunneke shot rounds of 74, 66, 70 and 73 while Myburch shot 73, 71, 71 and 68.
