Paul Simson finds winner's circle - again

HIGH POINT, NC (June 22, 2012) -- Today was the third and final round of the National Senior Hall of Fame. Starting his day one stroke off the lead, Paul Simpson fired a final round 70 at High Point Country Club and found himself tied at 214 with Emile Vaughan who also shot 70.
The sudden death playoff only lasted one hole and was decided by a par on the 18th hole by Paul Simson. Vaughn had a bogey 5 on the hole.
Brady Exber, second round co-leader finished with a 216 and took solo third. Paul Schlachter, the other second round co-leader shot a final round 74 and tournament total 217 and was alone in fourth place.
Simson, the 2010 winner of the event that brings together some of the best senior players in the country, will be inducted into the Southern Golf Hall of Fame in July. Earlier this Year Simson won the Crane Cup Senior event and he won the Canadian Senior and British Senior in 2010.
