Berkshire Trophy: White hangs on for win
BERKSHIRE, England (June 24, 2012) -- Josh White edged Matthew Fitzpatrick and Tom Berry by one shot to claim the 2012 Berkshire Trophy.
White shot a final-round 3-under 69, withstanding a 5-under 67 from Fitzpatrick and consistently strong play from Berry.
White used a second-round 67 to distance himself from a fluctuating field.
Blane Breheny was five shots off the pace alone in fourth place, playing terrific golf over the weekend to bounce back from a first-round 76.
