It's another busy weekend along the amateur golf tournament trail.

Following the thrilling U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship this past week at Conway Farms in Lake Forest, Ill. mid-ams in North Carolina will also be battling for their own championship.

Scott Harvey (No. 1 ranked player in North Carolina), Brian Westveer (No. 5) and Uly Grisette (No. 10), who recently reached match play at the U.S. Mid-Am, are just three of the players in contention at Benvenue Country Club in Rockey Mount, NC. Follow action from the North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship here.

The Oregon Golf Association will also holds its annual Mid-Amateur Championship at Black Butte Ranch Golf Club in Sisters, Ore.

Mid-Seniors will be put to test in Florida as the Florida State Golf Association hosts the North and South Mid-Senior Four-Ball Championships. The North event will be held at GOlden Ocala Golf & Country Club while the South title will be contested at the Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club in Naples.

Florida will also see the Palm Beach Open Championship take place at Bear Lakes Country Club's Lake Course in West Palm Beach. In Rockledge, Fla., the Platinum Coast Invitational will run Saturday to Sunday.

As always, we'll be keeping our finger on the pulse of amateur golf across the country. Stay with amateurgolf.com for results, news and information on all of the key events being played this weekend.
