Jeff Burda wins SOS Senior Masters

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. (April 19, 2013) -- Jeff Burda completed a consistently impressive performance with a final-round 72 to win the 2013 Society of Seniors Masters at Indian Wells Golf Resort.
Burda, a Modesto, Calif. resident, entered the finale tied atop the leaderboard thanks to rounds of 70-73 on Tuesday and Wednesday. His final-round 72 was enough to keep pace and remain two shots ahead of runner-up Chris Maletis, who charged on the final day of play with a 70.
Lutz, a major name on the national senior circuit, finished fourth after a final-round 77 --- one shot behind Kent Brown who placed third.
In the Super Senior Division, David Rasley fired a second-round 64 that created buzz throughout the event. Rasley's Wednesday 64 is believed to be the lowest competitive score in Society of Seniors competition
According to the SOS website, Rasley had an eagle and nine birdies while playing the Celebrity Course at Indian Wells for the very first time.
Rasley prevailed over Ted Smith despite a final-round 70. Smith finished three shots behind Rasley.
In the Grand Masters Division, Claud Johnson was a six-shot winner over Bob Hughett.
