Peach Blossom Invitational: Tidwell, Jr./Butler win it
MACON, Georgia (May 5, 2013) -- Coleman Tidwell Jr. and Rob Butler won their first tournament played as a team, clearing the field and runners-up Hans Reimers and James Beale by two shots to win the Peach Blossom Invitational at Idle Hour Club.
The winners opened play Saturday with a red-hot 65 and followed it up Sunday with another. Beale and Reimers matched their score from Saturday --- a 66 --- but it wasn't enough.
Jeff and Lee Knox took third place, five shots behind Tidwell and Butler.
The teams of Stephen Snipes and Rick Robarge and Bobby Brent III and Jared Garrity were tied for fourth place.
