Tim Hogarth leads Pasadena City (LIVE scoring available)
PASADENA, Calif. (May 18, 2013) -- It looks to be another battle for the title at the historice Pasadena City Championship, with the leading players set to tee off in a foursome at 1:15pm Pacific Time at Brookside Golf Club's No. 1 course - C.W. Koiner.
Veteran Southern California amateur golfer Tim Hogarth, 46, fired a 4-under 68 on Saturday to grab the lead from Joshua Shou, a Singapore native who last year qualified for the Barclay's Singapore Open on the European Tour. Hogarth reached 8-under for the tournament and 5-under for the day thanks to 6 birdies and one bogey; he gave one back on the par -3 17th where he took his second bogey of the day.
Hogarth starts Sunday at 7-under par, Shou is 6-under, setting up a potential two horse race if the other two players in the foursome, Dan Sullivan of Pasadena (-2) or Brennan Amirkhizi of Encino (-1) don't make a serious early move.
With a bright, sunny 80 degree day on tap, and conditions ripe for scoring, we don't expect to see the leaders moving backwards. To view live scoring, click on the link below.
