Worcester (Mass.) County Four-Ball: Aikens/Riley rule
WORCESTER — Successful four-ball golf is all about feeling comfortable with one's partner.
And Herbie Aikens and Ryan Riley looked pretty comfortable playing together again at Green Hill Municipal Sunday afternoon as they won the Walter Cosgrove Worcester County Four-Ball for the third straight year.
“That's the first three-peat in this event since I've been here,” said Green Hill head professional Matt Moison, now his 17th year.
Finishing with a second-round 6-under-par 66, Aikens from Pinehills GC and Riley from Sharon CC posted a 36-hole total of 131 to best the 52-team field by two shots.
