Henderson (Nev.) Open: Sawaia completes win
HENDERSON, Nev. (Jan. 26, 2014) -- Joe Sawaia continued his strong play with a final-round 76 to win the 2014 Henderson Open at Revere Golf Club.
Sawaia opened play Saturday with a 1-under 71 and rode it to a three-shot victory.
The Coronado High School coach bested Ryan Mccullough, who rallied on Sunday with a final-round 73 but couldn't catch Sawaia. Michael Dart (74-76) tied for third with Mccullough.
James Hill won by three shots in the Senior Division. he shot 77-78 to beat Kevin Parrish.
In the Super Senior flight, Frank Abbott shot 74-83 to win by a shot over Jim Cail (75-83).
