Santa Clara County: Suh rolls to 6-shot win

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 9, 2014) -- Rising junior Justin Suh shot rounds of 67-65-71 to win by six shots at the 2014 Santa Clara County Championship.
Suh raced out to the lead on Friday with a first-round 67 and all but secured the title with a second-round 65. Despite a surge from the leading contenders, Suh, who plays at the host club San Jose Country Club, rode to an easy victory.
Robby Salomon shot a final-round 66 to take solo second ahead of third-place finisher Andrew Bonner.
Matt Willliams and Matt Cohn shot final rounds of 69 and 68, respectively, to tie for fourth place.
In the Senior Division, Ken Noonan topped Casey Boyns and Jim Knoll in a playoff to prevail. All three players finished at 150 after the 36-hole championship before Noonan prevailed.
Boyns shot a final-round 72 to sneak into the playoff.
