Santa Clara County: Justin Suh, Jim Knoll win titles

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 7, 2015) -- Justin Suh continued his solid play on a 36-hole Sunday at San Jose Country Club to defend his title at the Ernie Pieper Santa Clara County Championship.
Suh also won the 2015 San Francisco City Championship, a match play event.
Justin Suh dominated the field this weekend; his rounds of 66-66-69 gave him an 11 stroke win over Steve Woods.
Jim Knoll posted 147 (73-74) to win the Senior Division, with Steve Duffy in second at 150.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 6, 2015) -- Justin Suh fired 66 today at San Jose Country Club to take the first round lead in the Ernie Pieper Santa Clara County Championship.
The tournament's namesake, a Northern California golf legend won the championship in six decades of his life.
Suh is trailed by Andrew Bonner (67) and former Stanford golfer Kyle Gentry (69).
SENIOR DIVISION
Jim Knoll of Sunnyvale, Casey Boyns of Monterey, and Ken Noonan of Pacific Grove are tied for the lead at 73.
Sunday's final round begins bright and early at 6:20am where two players who made the 18 hole cut at 78 tee off. After 36-holes are completed, another cut is made and the players who survive play another 18 in the afternoon to compete for the title.
