SOS Founders Cup: Chris Storck holds a one-shot lead after Round One

Chris Storck of Reading, Pa., holds a one-shot lead after the first round at the eighth annual Society of Seniors Founders Cup at Silverado Country Club & Resort (North Course) in Napa, Calif.
Storck shot a first-round 3-under 69, the only round by any golfer in the 60s in this round. He recorded four birdies and just one bogey in the round.
He made birdies on Holes Nos. 5, 9, 12, and 13. He bogeyed No. 11.
Mark Sanchez of Kentfield, Calif., is in solo second place at 2-under, and
Mike Combs of Roswell, Ga.,
Kent Kinkopf of Jupiter, Fla., and
Grady Brame of Hammond, La., are T3 at 1-under.
Jack Hall of Savannah, Ga., is in solo sixth place at 1-over.
Storck is coming off a two-stroke win at the Berks County Golf Association Senior Amateur Championship at LedgeRock Golf Club. He shot two rounds of 1-over 73 to finish 2-over and maintain at least a two-stroke lead the entire final round.
Silverado Country Club (North Course) hosts the Fortinet Championship on the PGA Tour. In October 2014, part of the PGA Tour's 2015 season, the Championship was hosted in Napa for the first time and has been there every year since.
Recent winners of the Fortinet Championship are California natives Sahith Theegala and Max Homa.
