Her 2024 campaign was marked by a series of impressive finishes, including a quarterfinal appearance in the U.S. Women's Amateur and medalist honors in U.S. Women's Open qualifying. She further demonstrated her talent by competing against the world’s best professionals, finishing T67 in the U.S. Women's Open.
Cernousek also secured runner-up at the Clemson Invitational, tied for 3rd at the NCAA South Regional, and posted top finishes at events such as the Moon Golf Invitational (T4) and SEC Women’s Championship (T6).
