LIVE LEADERBOARD: NCAA Women's DI National Championship 2025
The 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship teed off Friday, May 16, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Thirty teams and six individuals advanced through regional play to compete for the national title. The championship runs through May 21, culminating in both team and individual champions.

Day One Recap

Vanderbilt and Oklahoma State set the pace after Day One of the NCAA Women's National Championship, finishing as the only teams under par. The Commodores lead at 6-under, followed closely by the Cowgirls at 4-under. Meanwhile, several top-seeded programs—Stanford, Arkansas, Florida State, and South Carolina—faced early struggles but still have plenty of time to rebound with three rounds remaining.

Individually, Tennessee’s Bailey Davis delivered a standout performance with a 5-under 67, making just one bogey to keep the Volunteers in the mix. LSU’s Ella Svensson, Texas’s Lauren Kim, and USC’s Catherine Park each carded 68s to sit just one shot off the lead. Florida State’s highly touted duo of Mirabel Ting and Lottie Woad opened with rounds of 70 (–2) and 72 (even), respectively, to remain in contention.

Bailey Davis made her move early, going 5-under on the front nine including three birdies and an eagle at the par-5 6th. Despite a couple of bogeys on the back, she closed strong with birdies at 17 and 18.

Florida State captured its first ACC Championship and won the Lexington Regional. The Seminoles are led by Mirabel Ting and Lottie Woad, both finalists for the ANNIKA Award. Ting holds a school-record scoring average of 68.64, while Woad has the lowest career average in program history at 70.4.

Wake Forest's Consistency

The Demon Deacons, the 2023 national champions, won the Lubbock Regional. Senior Carolina Chacarra secured her fourth individual title at 7-under. Wake Forest is making its 10th consecutive NCAA Championship appearance.

Oregon clinched the Gold Canyon Regional, with Kiara Romero winning individual honors at 16-under. Romero's second-round 62 set a program record.
