Ransone crushes field at Delaware Women's Am

AVONDALE, Penn (June 20, 2012) -- Emily Ransone who plays out of Wilmington Country Club has captured the Delaware Women's Amateur Championship.
The Penn State senior posted a three day total of 6-under-par 210 (69-68-73) and was 17 strokes ahead of second place finisher Christina Vosters who finished at 227 (75-75-77.) Ransone carded 13 birdies and one eagle over the three rounds at Hartefeld National Golf Club.
Third place went to Dana Voss of Hartefeld National GC 229 (75-74-80) while Kim Thomas of Bayside Resort Golf Club took fourth at 234 (82-77-75.)
