Titleist is once again redefining game improvement with the introduction of the all-new GT1 driver.  As golfers begin to test the new member of the GT driver lineup on the course and at fitting sessions, Titleist’s commitment to continuous feedback and improvement ensures that this driver isn’t just a new addition—it’s a significant evolution of the ‘1’ family, crafted to elevate every aspect of a player's performance. With its deep center of gravity, innovative weight distribution, and refined aerodynamic design, the all-new GT1 driver is set to raise your game.

Just as groundbreaking innovations were evident in the GT2, GT3, and GT4 driver designs, Titleist engineers have refined the GT1 driver with significant weight savings without sacrificing the renowned sound and feel that golfers expect from Titleist. This achievement was made possible by integrating the new Seamless Thermoform Crown—crafted from Titleist’s proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP), a material making its debut in clubhead design with the GT series. The PMP not only reduces weight but also ensures that the classic Titleist tone remains intact, delivering a crisp sound and solid feel at impact.

Innovative Split Mass Construction and Aerodynamic Enhancements
The heart of the GT1 driver’s performance lies in its innovative Split Mass Construction. In this design, discretionary weight is unlocked from the club’s crown and then carefully redistributed internally. This strategic weight placement is engineered to promote a higher launch while optimizing speed, spin, and stability—essential attributes for any driver, and especially beneficial for GT1 players. With the deepest CG positioning in the GT driver family, the GT1 is uniquely poised to offer exceptional performance when it matters most.

Aerodynamic efficiency is another key aspect of the GT1 driver. Titleist’s engineering team has honed the crown and sole shape curvatures and reduced the face depth to create the shallowest head profile in the lineup. “Along with raising launch, we’re always looking at ways we can increase speed for this player,” Luttrell explained. “Our work on refining the aerodynamic shape means that the GT1 driver isn’t just about higher launch—it’s about being faster through the air and off the face.” The incorporation of an upgraded titanium Speed Ring reinforces and stabilizes the perimeter of the clubface, ensuring that on-center strikes produce maximized ball speeds. Complementing this is the Variable Face Thickness (VFT) technology, which plays a critical role in preserving consistently fast ball speeds, even on off-center hits.

An interchangeable back weight further enhances the fitting process, allowing players and fitters to fine-tune the club’s headweight to best suit individual swing characteristics and preferences.

TECH OVERVIEW AND SPECS

Ultra-Lightweight Configuration
Lightweight Shafts and Grip: Specifically chosen to facilitate faster clubhead speed and improved launch conditions,

Standard Configuration
15-Gram (+6) Headweight Option: For players who favor a standard build, this head weight option, paired with the standard shaft and grip offerings, delivers increased launch and stability without sacrificing spin control.

Both versions feature these technologies:

* Seamless Thermoform Crown with Proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP): The groundbreaking material used in the GT1 driver’s crown ensures a clean, integrated look at address and contributes significantly to weight reduction.

* Enhanced Sound and Feel: Despite the weight savings, the PMP crown preserves that classic Titleist impact sound and responsiveness.
Split Mass Construction:

* Internal Weight Redistribution: By relocating discretionary weight from the crown into the body of the club, the GT1 driver achieves a deeper CG, which is key to increased launch, speed, and overall stability.
Aerodynamic Shaping:

* Refined Crown and Sole Curvatures: These enhancements ensure that the GT1 driver cuts through the air with minimal drag, boosting clubhead speed.
Shallower Face Depth: The shallow profile contributes to faster ball speed and improved overall performance off the face.
Enhanced Performance Technologies:

* Titanium Speed Ring: This feature reinforces the perimeter of the clubface, helping to maximize ball speed on well-struck shots.
Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology: Designed to maintain consistent ball speeds across the face, even on off-center hits.
