The
Oklahoma Open began on Friday with a high school junior taking a two shot lead, but ended with another amateur taking home the title.
In a tournament packed full of aspiring professional players, two amateurs stole the show. Recent Tulsa University graduate Chris Worrell shot a final-round 67 to close out a miraculous run at Oak Tree National.
Worrell, who graduated from Tulsa in May, capitalized on a second-round 64 to put himself in position to lead with Sunday's round remaining.
Thomas Johnson was the story on Friday, though, shooting a 62 in his opening round to lead by two. Johnson will begin his junior year at Norman North High School this fall and has already committed to play collegiately for Oklahoma State University in 2015. He finished the event in 12th place after shooting 70-75 over the weekend.

First-round leader Jack Courington followed up his 70 with a 76 on Sunday to finish in a tie for second with Sam Stevens.
Antioch native De Los Reyes wins Antioch City by four
St. Mary's College junior Jonathan De Los Reyes followed up his Saturday 67 with a Sunday 64, going wire-to-wire at the Antioch City Amateur Championship.
De Los Reyes, who is a native of Antioch, tore up Lone Tree Golf Course over the weekend, fending off a hoard of talented northern California amateurs.
