LIVE SCORING: 2025 Junior World Golf Championships
USWING MOJING Junior World Golf Championships Leaderboards
San Diego is once again set to welcome the world’s best young golfers as the 2025 Uswing Mojing Junior World Golf Championships return to the city’s iconic courses from July 5–10. With nearly 1,250 players representing over 50 countries, the event is not just a golf tournament—it’s a global celebration of youth, talent, and cultural exchange.
A Storied Legacy Since 1968
What began as a dream in the mid-1960s among San Diego Junior Golf Association founders John Brown, A.S. “Lou” Smith, and Norrie West, became a reality in 1968 when 475 junior golfers from 20 U.S. states and 6 other countries competed in the first Junior World. The founders hoped to create a tournament where youth from around the world could come together to compete and connect across cultures. With a grant from the City of San Diego and help from local supporters, the inaugural tournament was staged at Torrey Pines and Balboa Park Golf Courses.
Since then, the Junior World has grown exponentially—both in size and stature. The list of past champions reads like a Hall of Fame roster: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Tony Finau, Jason Day, Lorena Ochoa, Yani Tseng, Gabriela López, and Nasa Hataoka, among others, all competed here as juniors. Today, the event remains a beacon of opportunity for the game’s rising stars.

Mission and Meaning Beyond the Game
More than a competition, the Junior World Golf Championships are about connection. The tournament’s mission is to bring together young golfers from all over the world and promote cultural understanding through the game of golf. “We believe that by serving young people in this way,” the organization states, “we are helping to give them a better chance of creating a kinder, more unified world.”
A New Era with Uswing Mojing
