Carlton Woods Senior: Booker, New, Nunez tied for lead

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (May 6, 2014) -- Former champion Mike Booker leads a trio of players tied atop the leaderboard in the Senior Division of the 2014 Carlton Woods Invitational.
Booker, Jeff New and Larry Nunez all shot 1-under 71 and are tied for the lead after Round 1 at Carlton Woods.
Booker, is a two-time champion in the Senior Division.
Don Kuehn, Owen Joyner and Michael Mercer all shot even par 72 and sit tied for fourth place while Chuck Palmer and James Primm are tied for seventh.
All told, there 13 players within five shots of the lead entering Round 2 of the 54-hole stroke play championship.
