Carlton Woods Invitational: Nathan holds lead
THE WOODLANDS, Texas (May 7, 2014) --
After two rounds of play, Kyle Nathan
remains
ahead at the 2014 Carlton Woods
Invitational.
Nathan, who took the first-round lead on
Tuesday, remained ahead by three shots
over
a host of contenders hoping for some final-
round magic on Thursday.
A re-instated amateur after a brief
professional
career, Nathan, from Glenview, Ill. followed
his
opening-round 3-under 69 with a 1-over 73
on
Wednesday. He'll enter Thursday's finale
leading Suwanee, Ga. golfer David Poteet
(72-
73) by three.
Matt Van Zandt of Houston is alone in third
after shooting a second-round 2-under 70 to
bounce back into contention.
Brady Exber is fourth at 3-over after
shooting
72-75 while Broc Haymon rounds out the
Top 5
at 4-over.

Carlton
Woods Invitational is strictly
by invitation from the Tournament Committee. The
90-player field will be
comprised of two tournament divisions, a Mid-Am
Division for players aged 25-54,
and a Senior Division for players aged 55 and above.
