Chicago District Amateur: Knoll, Biddle shoot 64s
Raymond Knoll
CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (June 23, 2014) -- Raymond Knoll and Blade Biddle both shot an impressive 7-under 64 to race to the lead for medalist honors at the 95th Chicago District Golf Association Amateur Championship at Hinsdale Golf Club.
The co-leaders' red-hot pace set them up beautifully for a prime seed when the low 16 stroke-play finishers begin match play Tuesday morning.
Knoll came in with a 31 while Biddle went to work early during his round, shooting a 30 on the front nine.
Jack Watson shot a 65 and a total of 17 golfers broke par during the morning wave of action.
