Gunn Yang defeats Bradley Neil at Georgia Cup

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Gunn Yang defeated Bradley Neil 3-and-2 at the 18th annual Georgia Cup on Tuesday.
Established in 1998, The Georgia Cup annually brings together the reigning United States Amateur and British Amateur Champion for an 18-hole match in advance of the Masters. The event benefits the Georgia State Golf Association Foundation .
Yang, of Korea, was the U.S. Amateur champion, having defeated Corey Conners of Canada last August at Atlanta Athletic Club. Neil, of Scotland, captured the 2014 British Amateur 2-and-1 over Zander Lombard of South Africa.
Both Yang and Neil will tee it up next week at The Masters, along with a string of other talented amateur players including U.S. Mid-Amateur winner Scott Harvey, Latin America Amateur champion Matias Dominguez, and Asia-Pacific Amateur winner Antonio Murdaca.
