May brothers lead with 65 at Williams Four-Ball

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Brothers David and Mike May carded 5-under 65 to lead by a stroke after the first round at the John R. Williams Four-Ball Tournament.
The natives of Auburn, N.Y. pace the field over five teams just a stroke back at 66, three teams at 67, and another six teams at 68. Thirty-six holes remain at Oak Hill Country Club.
David is a former Clemson golfer who turned pro but has since regained his amateur status, while Mike a current high-school senior.
Tied for second place at 4-under are the following teams: Mike Stackus and Mike Griffin, Shawn Baker and Carter Lucas, Michael Carrig and Brian Kumiega, Paul Gortnar and Jonathan Dunlap, and Pat Lindsay and Chris McCuaig.

54-hole two man best ball format with Mid-Am and Senior divisions. By invitation only.
Entrants must have a
handicap of 3.4 or less, with the team total not to
exceed 5.5. Both members
of teams in the Senior Division must be 55 years of
age
by the first day of
the tournament. Senior index requirements are 4.4
individual and 7.2 team.
