Pfaltzgraff leads the 27th Kansas Mid-Am
Kansas City's Brad Pfaltzgraff leads the 27th Mid-Amateur Championship after round one on Monday at historic Milburn Country Club in Overland Park.
Pfaltzgraff, a former KGA junior standout, was the only player in the field to break par in the opening round after posting a 1-under par 71. Lawrence's Conrad Roberts, Leawood's Tom Leonard and Spencer Christian & Ryan Kellenbarger, both of Wichita, are one shot off the lead after opening round even par 72's. Round two will begin at 8:00 am from #1 tee on Tuesday.
The Mid-Amateur Championship is open to KGA golfers age 25 & older. The championship format is 36 holes of individual stroke play with gross and net scoring within three age divisions.
