(February 27, 2017) -- It hadn't happened since 2009 and 2010 but Nicholas Mullhaupt was able to become the sixth different player to repeat at the
Gasparilla Invitational after a grind it out final day.
St. Mary junior Connor Blick is really enjoying playing in AmateurGolf.com events. This past weekend Blick won the Wine Country Cup for his second consecutive AGC title.
At the John Hayt Collegiate the North Florida Osprey's picked up their first win of the season while Army senior Peter Kim took home medalist honors.
Two college stars of the future picked up wins at the Dustin Johnson World Junior. In the Boys Division Georgia commit Trent Phillips claimed the title and in the Girls Division it was South Carolina commit Skylar Thompson grabbing the victory.
Over the weekend the Texas North and South Four-Balls were contested. The winners were Josh Irving and Will Osborne (North) and Grant Schroeder and Sam Hochhauser (South).
In South Africa 16-year-old Christo Lamprecht became youngest South African Amateur winner in the 110 year history of the event.
