These are some of the most inspiring swings in golf
Beth Ann Nichols of our partner Golfweek is on site at the inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open at Pinehurst No. 6, and she is capturing video of some of the most amazing golf swings you will see.
As much as we enjoy seeing the power of Bryson DeChambeau, the precision of Collin Morikawa, or the elegance of Jin Young Ko, there is something even more inspirational about the swing of a golfer who might be "missing" something but has found a way to overcome it and deliver the club to the back of the ball in his or her own unique way.
“I’m just trying to show people that there are other ways to get the job done,” says Brian Canesi, who was
born with no hands but carries a 5.6 handicap:
Brian Bemis has a better position at the top with one leg than most golfers do with two:
His swing may be shorter than Jon Rahm's, but seated golfer Larry Celano is perfectly on plane:
Here's Jordan Thomas. If you only watched him from the waist up, would you even be able to tell he was a double amputee?
There are so many more videos of these amazing athletes. Check out
Beth Ann's Twitter feed to see more throughout the week at Pinehurst.
