The Tennessee-based team of Bill Wellons and Tucker Jenkins won The Devlin invitational two-man event in a playoff at Secession Golf Club in Beaufort, S.C.

After two rounds of best-ball, the pair started the third and final round tied at 12 under with Christian Vozza and Eric Atsma, but after seven holes of individual aggregate, the skies opened up and play was halted due to the rain. After a delay, it became evident that the round could not be finished, and so the two teams went out on the course for a playoff.

The two teams headed out to the 16th hole at Secession, where Wellons and Jenkins won on the first playoff hole.

The tournament honors former tour player and golf course architect Bruce Devlin, and three Devlins were in the field, including his grandson Kris who finished third with his partner Craig Smith.

There are two divisions at The Devlin: the Cannon (the open division won by Wellons and Jenkins) and the Saber, the senior division for players ages 50 and over.

Banks and Stamberger shot rounds of 65-63 to finish 16 under par. Kurt and Kel Devlin, Bruce's sons, teamed up to finish T13 at 5 under par.
