Carson Bertagnole of Pinehurst, North Carolina, shot a final round 5-under-par 67 to finish the Team TaylorMade Invitational at 14-under-par 202 and claim his first Invitational win.

Conditions at Old Waverly were tougher during the final round, with the wind picking up and gusting at times. Players still took advantage of the warm temperatures, though, with 31 players finishing the tournament under par.

This is the fourth playing of the Team TaylorMade Invitational and features some of the most talented junior golfers in the world. The event is supported by AJGA Global Sponsor TaylorMade Golf and moves annually to different venues throughout the country.

With rounds of 69-66-67, Bertagnole carded all three tournament rounds in the 60s. He battled all day with Jon Ed Steed of Enterprise, Alabama, Alex Huang of Plano, Texas, and Logan Reilly of Lovettsville, Virginia. The turning point of the final round came on No. 15 for Bertagnole as he poured in a 10-foot putt for an eagle and the lead. He never looked back as he pared the remaining holes to secure his first Invitational victory.

Bertagnole started the day one shot back of the leaders but quickly inserted himself into the race with three birdies on the front nine. He made the turn with a birdie on No. 10 before bogeying No. 12. He closed out the remaining holes at 2-under with his eagle on No. 15. Coming into the event, he was No. 34 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

The 2025 grad has one AJGA win at the 2022 AJGA Junior at 12 Oaks. He also has five other AJGA top-10 finishes. The University of North Carolina verbal commit was also a 2023 Rolex Junior All-American.

Jon Ed Steed of Enterprise, Alabama, finished as runner-up. Steed fired a 6-under-par 66 in the first round, followed by a 68 and a 70 in the final round, for a tournament total of 12-under-par 204.

Will Gordon, Alex Huang, and Logan Reilly finished at 11-under, and T3, Eric Yun finished in solo sixth place at 10-under, Anthony Purcea finished in solo seventh place at 9-under, and Chase Kyes finished in solo eighth place at 8-under.

Jay Leng Jr., Giuseppe Puebla, Parker Severs, and Henry Guan all finished 7-under and T9 to round out the top ten.

The Team TaylorMade Invitational field featured 25 Rolex Junior All-Americans, five of the top 10 boys in the current Rolex AJGA Rankings at Old Waverly Golf Club.
