Kylie Eaton wins Women's Eastern Amateur title

Kylie Eaton from Greenville, R.I., shot 3-under 213, following her rounds of 73-70-70 to register a three-shot win at the Women’s Eastern Amateur title at Buck Hill Golf Club at Buck Hills Fall, PA.
Eaton entered the final round with a two-shot lead over the field and added a final round 70 to clinch the title with almost no visible challenge coming from the nearest competitors.
Michelle Cox of Penn State carded rounds of 72-74-70 to register a runner-up finish at even-par.
Ami Gianchandani, a graduate student at Auburn, a recent transfer from Yale, carded rounds of 76-69-72 to finish third at 1-over.
Eaton, who has committed to the University of Illinois, secured her first win of the season. In 2023, she won the New England Junior Amateur title, finished as the runner-up at Rhode Island Girls Junior, and claimed third place at the Rhode Island Women’s Amateur Championship.

Maine,
Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New
Jersey,
New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode
Island,
South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and the District of
Columbia. 54 hole stroke play championship.
