The main story in this championship so far is the course.
Southern Hills Country Club, host of the 2022 PGA Championship, is testing the golfers. None of the teams are under par, and only three golfers are under par through three rounds—they are all 1-under.

They lead the field by one shot heading into the final round.
Eric Lee of Oklahoma State, Preston Stout of Oklahoma State, and Joe Pagdin of TCU are T4 at even par.
In the team competition, Oklahoma State took over Arizona State and lead the Sun Devils by six shots at 1-over. The Cowboys have carded scores of 286-279-276 through the first three rounds of stroke play.
Arizona State is in solo second place at 7-over and Houston is in solo third place at 26-over.
