With the tension of March Madness behind us and the College World Series yet to blast off, college golf steps into the national spotlight. The 2025 NCAA Golf Regionals are more than just a qualifying gauntlet—they’re a proving ground for legacies, future stars, and underdog runs. Across the country, teams are preparing to punch their tickets to Carlsbad, California, where the NCAA Championship will crown this season’s elite.

Auburn, last year’s first-time men’s champion, enters with a target on its back, especially as they finished the current season ranked No. 1 in the Clippd Rankings.

Top 4 Teams (based on Clippd Scoreboard, May 11, 2025):
#1 Auburn University: Auburn leads the rankings with a strong record of 140-18-2.
#2 Oklahoma State University: Oklahoma State follows closely with a record of 133-13-5.
#3 Ole Miss University: Ole Miss holds the third spot with a record of 103-30-0.
#4 University of Texas: Texas rounds out the top four with a record of 138-17-3.

INFO & LIVE SCORING

Regionals: May 12–14 at six sites (view an in-depth guide to thee NCAA  Division I Men's Regioonal host courses)

Each regional features 13 or 14 teams, with the top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual not on those teams advancing to the national championship. Auburn returns with much of its championship core and seeks to become the first back-to-back champion in over a decade. Jackson Koivun already secured back-to-back individual SEC titles for the Tigers.

Marquette enters the Urbana Regional as the #8 seed, riding momentum from a Big East title. Facing off against top-tier programs like Oklahoma State and UNC, their depth will be tested. David Ford of North Carolina, who leads the PGA Tour University rankings, already has secured five wins this season, while top amateur Luke Clanton of Florida State has already secured his PGA Tour card and will look to add an NCAA championship.
