2010 Tyrrell Garth Jr. Invitational Re-Cap: This year's Tyrrell Garth Jr. Invitational turned out to be successful in many respects. The weather cooperated the entire weekend and allowed for not a single delay. A strong field from top to bottom competed over the course of three days, and for the second year in a row, a wire to wire win took place in the Championship Flight. Beaumont native Paul Moore (who now lives in Austin, TX) won the tournament by shooting scores of 71-70-73 = 214 for a total of one-over-par. Moore is six-time winner of the Beaumont City Championship. He is also a past champion of the Austin Open and Houston City Championship. Paul Moore is a very deserving champion based on his steady demeanor and play the entire tournament. Beaumont Country Club member Charlie Jabbia's second place finish was the best Tyrrell Garth finish of his career.
