Carlton Woods Invitational winner to get key exemptions
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Carlton Woods Invitational is ascending to the national stage with “Coast to Coast” exemptions in 2012.
In 2006, The Club at Carlton Woods had a vision to create one of the most prestigious events in amateur golf, six years later the Invitational is making a big push towards accomplishing that goal.
After attracting a national field of players and building a solid foundation for the future, the Carlton Woods Invitational is moving to the national stage with the announcement of two special exemptions for our winners this year.
The Mid-Am and Senior division winner will receive an exemption into the Stocker Cup and the Crane Cup invitational tournaments. Exemptions into these two prominent amateur events will provide added excitement and prestige to the 2012 Carlton Woods Invitational.
