Jack Bieber leads Palo Alto Men's City Championship
PALO ALTO, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2012) -- Jack Bieber fired a first-round 67 and leads the 2012 Palo Alto Men's City Championship being held at Palo Alto Golf Course.
Bieber leads Keelan Kilpatrick and Pace Johnson by one shot and is three up over Mark Wyllie and Ryan Knop, who shot 70s.
Nick Thomas is alone in sixth place at 71 while Joseph Saad, Matthew Miller, Matt Cohn, Patrick Grimes, Ryan Gronlund, Shotaro Ban and Thayer White head into Round 2 well within striking distance after firing 72 in the opening round.
The event, an NCGA Points event, wraps up Sunday. The Palo Alto City is a traditional fall event that draws an excellent field.
